The Talking Tactile Tablet, nicknamed “TTT”, is an inexpensive, rugged and simple new computer peripheral device designed for use as a “viewer” for audio/tactile materials and the SAL2 Courseware. Most simply, it consists of a computer touch screen connected to a PC via a USB cable. A hinged weighted frame that can be opened and closed by a user with limited manual dexterity serves to hold a selected tactile graphic sheet motionless in place against the touch-sensitive surface. The redesigned TTT is now available for immediate shipping. This stylish unit works the same as the original version, but it is lighter, smaller and more ergonomic. The first SAL2 Courseware package, Mangold™ Braille Reading Program for Young Readers Ages 5 – 12 is now available. Additional SAL2 titles will be made available soon after.
