Help Students With Fundamental Concepts

Level I: Among the fundamental concepts successfully dealt with in the easy two-step pictorials are those of before/after, first/last, and now/then. Ordinal numbers - first, second, third- and the idea of next/finally are introduced and developed with the use of familiar situations in the three-step sequence cards. Level I includes 7 sets of two-step sequences and 6 sets of three-step sequences., for a total of 32 cards: Seven 2 step pictorials introduce concepts of before/after, first/last, and now/then. Six 3-Step develop ordinal numbers - and the idea of next/finally.

Level II: More advanced in concept and with an increase of detail, these second level cards are warmly illustrated with familiar scenes such as frying an egg and washing the family car to help elicit greater identification in the growth of problem solving techniques. The cards are ideal for group use in a classroom or for individualized study. The 32 card total includes 3 sets of four step sequences and 4 sets of 5-step sequences.

Level III: The third and most advanced level of this series is comprised of 5 sets of six-step sequences. These 30 realistic and interesting cards provide an important stimulus for further development in the concepts of time/duration, growth/change, and ideological relationships. In special education classes for both adults and children the teacher will find them an invaluable aid for evoking imaginative verbal response as well as a source for creative writing.
